Good question! Members pay for for their own meals. Annual membership fees are about $500, comprised of about $140 ($100US) as donation to the Rotary Foundation, $250 to District and International fees and the remaining for club expenses.
As a club member, the benefits I derive from membership and in particular our fundraising activities are the fellowship and the honour and privilege in helping to decide how best to serve the community.

It's about time. I keep track of the number of times I get a green light at Pine and Wellington. Travelling east is usually good, about 50%. For all other directions the rate is between 10 and 15 percent. I find it quite remarkable. At Pim and MacDonald, the rate is about 20%
Once in while I can travel from 5th line to Queen Street without having to stop.
What we really need is some roundabouts - think Black Road and Second Line, Fourth Line and Great Northern.
