I'm beginning to think these protesters protest just to get out the house and go for coffee...actual government funding is $309 million for extra staffing PPE, and other things. Far from the 7 cents per pupil the illustrious leader of this group says was allocated....can you say wtg Mr. Ford and Mr. Romano...or will we see another out of the house date to protest another non issue.

Two months for a specialist is quite good...I had my appointment made in January for August and rescheduled to October. And two doctors serving 70,000 people...your mom is lucky she is getting in that quick.

I think SooToday did a fine job....they reported it was ongoing to 8pm according to their contact, there were speakers addressing the attendees, and that sums it up....I feel most other residents could care less...these protests are becoming hohum

Why can they not use the vacant areas of the OLG building on Bay....rumor that two thirds of that building is not used except for storage. Plus you will keep the Ontario Works downtown where it is now and the building is Ontario government property. They could sell what they have now and do any upgrade they would need with the proceeds

Kudos to the grocery deliveries...a much needed service . But thumbs down to our local grocery stores for not having grocery ordering and delivering or even curbside pickup. Romes has something in place but on the website there are no time slots available for two weeks which is all they show. Metro has nothing but a phone call says they are trying for something in two weeks....Food Basics and No Fills have nothing either. RJs has but your order has to total 100.00 and there is a 15.00 delivery fee and City Meats allows you to call between 9am and 12pm to place an order for delivery but for 3 days now all I got was a busy signal and finally getting through after 12pm, it was a message that you couldn't leave a message. . And Walmart has online shopping and curbside pickup....but not in Sault Ste Marie. So its putting on the mask etc. standing in line and crossing the fingers to get the groceries....unless anyone here knows something else available

Do your history research....the Catholic system was funded by Catholics and Catholic corporations whose taxes were split between the two groups...same as today, so you don't save money
