The Sault Cycling Club is seeking community support for a vital project: completing the Farmer Lake trail system.
Trail construction at Hiawatha Highlands has been underway since 2021, made possible by initial funding sourced from Tourism Sault Ste. Marie.
Now, the final phase—"Closing the Loop"—is in the hands of the Sault Cycling Club. And they need your help to bring it across the finish line!
Completing this project will not only enhance our local trail network but also fulfill a key component of the Active Trail Network Master Plan.
It plays a pivotal role in Sault Ste. Marie’s vision of becoming a recognized Trail Town, attracting visitors, boosting tourism and expanding green space for our growing, active community.
This challenging 5 km+ section requires $30,000 to complete, making your contribution essential to closing the loop!
For as little as $12, you can play an important part in pedalling this initiative forward.
You can sponsor a metre (or many!) by contributing to the Close the Loop fundraiser here.
Join us in building a legacy that future generations will enjoy. Your support will make a lasting impact in Sault Ste. Marie!
