Robbery Investigation On the 07 May 2009 at approx. 2:19 and 2:25 am respectfully patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Korah Road with regards to 2 robberies that occurred minutes apart from each other.

On the 07 May 2009 at approx. 2:19 and 2:25 am respectfully patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Korah Road with regards to 2 robberies that occurred minutes apart from each other. It is alleged in both cases the victims were approached by 2 females and a male. The male was armed with what appeared to be a handgun and also with a baseball bat and the females with knives. It is alleged the suspects approached a males who had just exited a Hotel located on Korah Road and demanded cigarettes from them. It is further alleged the male suspect showed the victim the firearm. A scuffle developed between one victim and the male suspect at which time the victim suffered a stab wound to his back. The suspects then ran off and then accosted a female and male who were walking near Wallace and Farwell Terrace demanding money from them. The suspects then ran off as they heard responding patrol cars from the first robbery. Suspects ran off and the location given to police by witness’s. The investigation carried on through the day yesterday and as a result 3 persons were arrested and will appear in bail court this morning. Charged with 2 counts of robbery and 1 count of aggravated assault is 21 year old Arranda Tierra Forbes of 308 Korah Rd. and 18 year old Steffen Marc Maxwell of 125 Panoramic Drive. A 16 year old female has also been charged with the same offences. The victim was treated and released from hospital.

Threatening & Criminal Harassment

A 37 year old male will appear in bail court charge with threatening and criminal harassment. It is alleged that the accused threatened his ex-wife as well as her new boyfriend with death. It is further alleged the accused attended at the residence of the victim and stood outside her home yelling and calling her names as well as peering into the windows. The accused was arrested this morning at 02:50 am.

Drug Bust

On the 07 May 2009 at approx. 4:55 pm members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service Street Team executed a search warrant at a residence located at 50 Princeton Drive. During the course of the search officers located 13.3 grams of cocaine, 19 morphine tablets of various strengths, 0.8 grams of marihuana and 17 tablets of Baclofen. Also seized were digital scales, packaging material, cutting agents as well as cash. Estimated street value of the drugs is approx. $1890.00. The accused Jesse James Bailey aged 18, of 50 Princeton Drive will appear in court on the 15 June 2009 charged with 2 counts of possession and 3 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Mischief

Police are investigating a complaint of mischief to a window in a door to a home in the 100 block of Henrietta Ave. yesterday.

A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Wallace Terrace had three of it tires slashed yesterday
