Bail Court 1) A 19 year old male turned himself into Police this morning. Jordan Roy Porter of 603 Second Line west was arrested and charged with one count of, break, enter and commit as well as aggravated assault.

1) A 19 year old male turned himself into Police this morning. Jordan Roy Porter of 603 Second Line west was arrested and charged with one count of, break, enter and commit as well as aggravated assault. These charges stem from an incident on the 22 April 2009. It is alleged that the accused along with several accomplices forced their way into a residence in the 200 block of North St. and assaulted and robbed the victim. Porter will appear in court later today.

2) 3 males aged 14, 16, and 17 will appear in bail court today each charged with theft over $5000.00 as well as possession of stolen property over $5000.00. It is alleged the three accused stole a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche on the 03 May 2009 which had been parked at the John Rhodes Community Centre. The suspects were apprehended approx. an hour and a half after the vehicle was reported taken. The vehicle and suspects were located in the 900 block of Second Line west.

3) 23 Year old [pardon granted] will appear in court on the 08 June 2009 charged with the following offences. Impaired operation, failure to provide a breath sample, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police. It is alleged that on the 03 May 2009 at approx. 01:04 am the accused was operating a motor vehicle east bound on Queen St. East and passing another motor vehicle at approx. 162 km/h.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle which was described as 2003 Chrysler operated by the accused but he failed to do so. Vehicle was eventually stopped on Ford St. and the suspect taken into custody.

4) 27 Year old Christian James Fox of 240 Albert St. west will appear in court on the 01 June 2009 charged with Dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene of a motor vehicle collision. It is alleged that on the 02 May 2009 at approx. 03:30 am the accused attempted to strike an acquaintance with the motor vehicle in which he was operating and in doing so damaged a fence in the 200 block of Albert of Albert St. west. The accused then left the scene. The victim did not require medical treatment.

Mischief

Vehicles had windows smashed in the following locations, 2 vehicles on Montgomery, 1 on Cunningham Rd., 1 on Allard St., 1 on Sharon Crescent, 1 on Lake St., 1 on Old Garden River Road, 1 on Millcreek and 1 on Alpine St.
A home on Hawthorne Avenue had a window in the rear porch broken

A home in the 200 block of North St. also reported a window in the front door broken

Unlocked vehicles were entered in the 200 and 300 block of Old Garden River Road, cell phones, ID and loose change were reported taken

Break and Enters

A home in the 300 block of Albert St. west was entered and nothing was reported taken

An apartment in the 400 block of Queen St. west was entered and a DELL laptop taken as well as 2 air pistols
