The scene of a Saturday house fire on Pozzebon Crescent was turned over to Sault Police, says a spokesperson for the Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services.

Aaron Gravelle, public education officer with the Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services, said a call came in at about 1:30 p.m. on Saturday for a fire in the 0-100 block of Pozzebon Crescent.

"There were no injuries to report. The incident was turned over to city [police]," said Gravelle in an email on Monday.

Lincoln Louttit, communications manager for the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, confirmed on Monday there is a current investigation into the incident.
