Male Charged with Stolen Property: 48 year-old William Kozak of 351 Elizabeth Street was charged on the 15th of June at 3:23 pm at his residence with one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
Male Charged with Stolen Property:

48 year-old William Kozak of 351 Elizabeth Street was charged on the 15th of June at 3:23 pm at his residence with one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that on the 7th of June at approximately 11 am the accused attended at a local scrap metal shop and sold five bags of rail anchors that had been reported stolen earlier in the day from Huron Central Railway on Oakland Avenue. He is to appear in court on the 13th of July.

Two Female Shoplifters Charged:

1) 41 year-old Tammy Moore of 352 Cathcart Street was charged on the 15th of June at 8:37 pm at Wal-Mart with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 15th of June around 7n pm the accused attended at the store and attempted to leave the store with a RCA 32 inch LCD television. She was apprehended by store security and held for police. She is to appear in court on the 20th of July.

2) 20 year-old Celina Ense of #107-769 Pine Street was charged at 5:30 pm at Wal-Mart with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that the accused attended at the store just before 5 pm and stole various groceries. She was apprehended by store security and held for police. Police also discovered that the accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant for possession of stolen property. She is to appear in court on the 20th of July.

Domestic Related Arrest:

A 30 year-old female was arrested on the 16th of June at 1:05 am at her residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that the accused got into a verbal argument with her husband at their residence and assaulted him by punching him in the face and kicking him. She is to appear in court on the 22nd of July.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant:

34 year-old Douglas Boucher of 20 Prentice Avenue was arrested on the 15th of June at 6:30 pm at the city police station and charged with one count of breach of probation in relation to an outstanding probation and parole warrant.

Theft Reports:


• Vehicles were entered on Palace Drive and Chapple Avenue. Items reported stolen included an ownership and insurance card, a steering wheel cover and some change.
• A Canon Digital Camera was reported stolen out of a purse at a local downtown bar.

Mischief Report:

On the 14th of June, a vehicle parked in the parking lot at the John Rhodes Community Centre during the RCMP Musical Ride was keyed.
