Missing Person The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking the assistance from the public in to locating a missing female. Missing is Marilyn Taylor 59 years old.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is seeking the assistance from the public in to locating a missing female. Missing is Marilyn Taylor 59 years old. Taylor was seen at the Sault Area Hospital on the 21st of April 09 and left that location in unknown direction of travel. Police have concerns with regards to her well being as Taylor has a medical condition that requires daily medication. Taylor is described Caucasian, 5’1”, 116lbs, blue eyes, slender build, light complexion, long straight brown-grey hair. She was last seen wearing a brown sweater, brown pants, blue headband, and a blue scarf. If anyone has seen or know of Taylors possible location they are asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service at 949-6300.

Break and Enters

At approx. 12:53 am this morning police were called to a home in the 300 block of Pim Street with regards to a residential break in. A purse and two small safes were reported taken. Police Canine Unit was used to track the subject(s) with negative results.

At approx. 04:11 am this morning police were called to a residence in the 200 block of North St. with regards to a break in and assault on the resident. The victim states that several persons forced their way into his home and demanded money and drugs. The victim was assaulted and was taken to hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.

At 3:30 am this morning unknown persons attempted to break into a home in the 400 block of Charles St. The attempt was made by breaking the rear window. The home owner was awakened and called police.

A shed located at a home on Eden Square was broken into but nothing was reported taken

Thefts

Police are investigating the theft of a purse from a motor vehicle. The vehicle had been parked in the 1100 block of Queen St.

Mischief

City Police are investigating damage to a bus shelter located on Northern Ave. Glass panels were again smashed
