IMPAIRED WHILE WALKING
Last night at approximately 11:30 pm, the accused Richard Levesque, age 26 of 710 Second Line West, was found by patrol officers walking on Goulais Avenue in an intoxicated condition.

When patrol officers determined that Levesque’s level of intoxication and circumstances were a safety risk, they arrested him for his own protection.

A police records’ check revealed that Levesque was on probation with conditions including abstain from the consumption of alcohol and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

He has been charged with two counts of Breach of Probation and Resist/Obstructing Police. He will appear in bail court today.

17-YEAR OLD PICKED UP
Also yesterday, at 3:50 pm , police located the accused, a 17-year-old youth, at the young persons residence in the downtown area. A police records’ check revealed that the youth was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Breach of Undertaking, and was arrested and charged with the breach and will appear in court in mid December

16-YEAR OLD PICKED UP
In a similar incident yesterday morning at 2:00 am, police officers checked a 16-year-old youth on Tancred Street. The youth was wanted for Assault, Breach of Probation and Failing to Attend in Court. Officers arrested the accused for these offences and the accused will appear in court in mid December.

Patrol officers were called to a residence yesterday, where a 16-year-old youth was breaching a probation order. Officers learned that from the 1st of November until their arrival, the youth was not taking medications prescribed to the accused and directed to take as part of a probation order. The youth was arrested and charged with Breach of Probation, with a court date in mid December.

ASSAULT CHARGE
Last week, on the 7th of November at approximately 9:30 pm, the accused, a 26-year-old male, engaged in a verbal disagreement with his girlfriend. The argument changed to a physical altercation when he punched the victim in the head twice.

The victim received minor injuries. On November 10th at 12:22pm patrol officers arrested and charged him with Assault. He will appear in court on December 15th.

17-YEAR OLD PICKED UP
On the 10th of November the accused, a 17-year-old young person, took a friends motor vehicle without consent. The accused was at the friend’s home, in the central area of the city, when the young person took the vehicle out to Third Line and got it stuck in the ditch. At 8:30 am patrol officers charged the youth with Taking the Motor Vehicle Without Consent. The accused will appear in court in mid December.
