ZELLERS’ THEFT Yesterday morning shortly after 11:00 am the accused, Alfredo Cesario, age 37 of 38 Ashgrove Drive set off the store door alarms while exiting the Zellers on Northern Avenue.

Yesterday morning shortly after 11:00 am the accused, Alfredo Cesario, age 37 of 38 Ashgrove Drive set off the store door alarms while exiting the Zellers on Northern Avenue.

Store employees observed the accused enter the parking lot and take several videos from the store out of his jacket and place them under a parked vehicle.

Patrol officers were called to the scene where they charged the accused with Theft. He will appear in court on December 1st.

BABYSITTER IN TROUBLE
Tuesday morning at a city residence, a 27-year-old male who was looking after an 8 year old young person, slapped the youth in the face before the child went to school. School staff noted the injury and police were contacted.

The 27-year-old male was arrested and charged at 1:10 pm by Detectives from the Police Service with Assault. He will appear in court on December 1st.

ZELLERS STRUCK AGAIN
Last evening at 7:50 pm, the accused Roger Vienneau Jr. age 27 of 66 Hillside Drive concealed DVD movies while in the Zellers Department Store located at 293 Bay St. The accused then left the department store without paying and fled on foot from the area.

The accused was arrested by Zellers Security a short distance from the store and turned over to the City police officers. The accused was on an undertaking not to attend at Zellers.

He has been charged with Theft and Failing to Comply with an Undertaking. He will appear in court on December 1st.

RESISTS ARREST
Last night just before 10:00 pm at the Road House Bar and Grill at 743 Trunk Rd, the accused Kevin Sim, age 24 of 49 Vera Street was observed by police talking to a person he was on conditions not to associate with. Further the accused was drinking beer, while he was on a probation order not to be under the influence of alcohol.

Police advised him he was under arrest and charged him with Resist Arrest and three counts of Breach of Probation. He will appear in bail court today.

ONE BREAK IN
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service was called to investigate one break in yesterday. At 3:30 pm Officers were called to an apartment on Allard Street for a break in that occurred there. Thieves entered the apartment and stole several items including a computer, a television and a telephone.
