On June 22, 2016 at 9:45 p.m., city police arrested and charged a 47-year-old male with breach of his recognizance of bail. It is alleged that he breached the condition on the recognizance that prohibited him from consuming alcohol.

On June 21, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. police were called to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Maple Street and St. Georges Avenue. No one was injured in the collision.

On June 20, 2016 at 10:50 p.m. city police stopped an e-bike on Pim Street. The driver of the e-bike, John Shackleton age 57 of Chestnut Street, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

On June 19, 2016 at about 9 p.m. city police received a report of a possible impaired driver in the downtown core of the city. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested 76-year-old Hugh John Lougheed of Airport Road, Sault Ste Marie.

On June 15, 2016 a male age 37 turned himself in at the City Police Station regarding domestic related matters. Police had received a complaint from the victim alleging that she had been receiving unwanted communication and contact with her ex-spouse.

At 2:43 p.m. on June 11, 2016 city police arrested 42-year-old Christofer Llewellyn of Halifax, Nova Scotia. It’s alleged that the accused went through the primary lanes of Canada Customs on Huron street and was showing signs of impairment.

On June 11, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. officers received information of a possible impaired driver. Officers were able to locate the vehicle at the Great Northern Road LCBO store and speak to the driver.

On June 8, 2016 city police attended an east side residence of the city to assist a female in retrieving her belongings. While at the residence police encountered a male who police allegedly believed had been drinking.
