On April 12, 2016 at 11 p.m., city police arrested and charged a 47-year-old female in regard to a disturbance call to a downtown apartment.

On April 11, 2016 at 11:05 p.m., city police arrested and charged a 36-year-old male with assault after a domestic violence complaint was received from his ex-wife. The incident occurred on April 10, 2016 in the central part of the city.

On April 10, 2016 at 9:10 a.m., city police attended at the Northern Treatment and Remand Centre in regard to staff finding drugs in an inmate’s cell. A 52-year-old male was allegedly found with approximately 45 grams of marijuana in his cell.

At 6:20 p.m. on April 07, 2016, city police arrested 63-year-old Ralph Balciunas of East St. City Police were called regarding the accused breaking into an abandoned residence on Wallace Terrace. Police arrested Balciunas a short distance away.

On April 6, 2016 at 11:18 A.M. city police arrested 19 year old Sidney Shaganash of no fixed address, Sault Ste Marie. It’s alleged that the accused failed to comply with the terms of her probation. She will be appearing in bail court on April 07, 2016.
