City Police Beat

On April 16, 2015 at 9 p.m., officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Drug Enforcement Unit along with plain clothes patrol officers observed a male and female in a vehicle on Borron Street acting suspicious.

On April 15, 2015 at 10:30 p.m., officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Drug Enforcement Unit observed 21-year-old Michael Radford of Wallace Terrace walking on Albion Street.

On April 14, 2015 at 9 p.m., city police were called to a residence on Walnut and arrested 31-year-old Lindsey Perrault of no fixed address. It alleged that Miss Perrault attended a residence on Walnut Street and damaged the door of the residence.

On April 14, 2015 at 8:20am Sault Ste. Marie Police officers attended on Cathcart Street in regards to a domestic disturbance.

On April 13, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie Police officers arrested 24-year-old Jody Edwards of Second Line West and 20-year-old Ryan McLeish of Albert Street East. It is alleged that on March 19, 2015 at 3:15 p.m.

On Friday April 10, 2015 officers with Investigation Services located and arrested 75 year old Rosann SPENCER of 14 Atwater St and charged her with Fraud over $5000, unauthorized use of a credit card and Theft over $5000.

On April 9, 2015 23-year-old Dana Steffler of Goulais Ave. attended the Police Services Building to turn herself in on outstanding warrants.

On April 8, 2015 at 12:15pm 28 year old Gregory PARR of Cathcart Street stole an air connector valued at $7.99. The accused left a local store failing to pay for the concealed item. The accused was arrested by store security and police were called.

On April 7, 2015 just after midnight, the Ontario Provincial Police conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Heyden Ontario.

On April 4, 2015, the Sault Ste. Marie detachment of the OPP pulled a vehicle over for speeding near the St. Joseph Island turn off.
