August 14 Evening News A resident in the 400 block of Queen Street West reported that medication was stolen from her apartment. 42 year old Lylie-Jo Liscumb of 39 St. Basils Drive was arrested for breach of a release document.

Evening news: A garage in the 600 block of Boundary Rd. was broken into sometime overnight and a 21 speed lime green supercycle was stolen.

Evening new release A 41 year old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Breach of a Undertaking and Breach of Probation. T he charges stem from a domestic incident where the accused was on undertaking not to communicate with the victim.

On August 10, 2013 in the late afternoon Police Officers were called to a residence in the 300 block of Fifth Ave. for a disturbance. Officers spoke to Annette Betty-Lynn Denis, age 39 of 338 Fifth Ave. Apt 2 Sault Ste. Marie.

Male Arrested in Homicide Investigation. On August 8th shortly before 7:30 pm the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service responded to a 911 call for assistance and located the body of a deceased female in a residence in the 300 block of Lake Street.

Afternoon news SSMPS Investigating a Homicide In the evening hours of the 8th of August the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service received a 911 call for police assistance.

At approximately 2:20 am this morning officers attended in the area of Rossmore Road. A homeowner called to report three males were going through vehicles in the area and the homeowner chased the youths away.

Domestic Dispute leads to Charges On the 7 August 2013 police responded to the report of a domestic dispute. A male and female were engaged in an argument where it is alleged the man struck the female in the head with a guitar and kicked in a door.

A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 100 block of Cunningham Road. Entry was gained but it is not believed anything was stolen. A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 100 block of Chambers Avenue.

On the morning of August 5, 2013 at 10:45 a.m., Patrol Officers attended a residence on Salisbury Ave. for an assault complaint. Officers learned that a 21-year-old female had assaulted two of her care givers by pulling and shoving them.
