On September 4 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Sault Ste. Marie Police responded to a motor vehicle collision.

Afternoon news On September 3, 2013 at 12:00pm detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division arrested and charged a 29 year old male for sexual assault and sexual interference.

On September 1st, 2013 at 4:00 pm Police Officers arrested and charged Cody Quesnell, age 21 of No Fixed Address with several criminal offences. Officers observed Quesnell in the downtown area and knew there to be arrest warrants for Quesnell.

Victim name released The victim from the fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on McNabb St. at Algoma Ave. on August 31 has been identified as Christa (Lukenda) Michaud, age 28, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

11:00 p.m. release Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision on McNabb St. Algoma Avenue At 7:07 p.m. on the 31st of August.

On August 30th at 1:53 pm Patrol Officers observed Gary Levar, age 44 of 879 Fourth Line West on Lake St. Officers knew there was an outstanding arrest warrant for Failing to Attend Court on a charge of Assault with Weapon.

Probation Violation On August 29th, 2013 at 5:40 am Police Officers arrested and charged a 23 year old male for Failing to Comply with His Probation Order.

Evening Release A break and enter was reported to a residence in the 100 block of Maple Street between 5:45 p.m. on August 27th and 7:20 a.m. on August 28th. Once inside the culprits stole the keys to a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and stole the vehicle.

Evening News A 35 year old male was arrested on a warrant regarding a domestic occurrence.

On August 26, 2013 the Sault Ste. Marie Police, Investigation Services arrested a 72 year old male for dated sexual offences on two separate victims. It is alleged that between 1972 and 1975 while in the City of Sault Ste.
