Evening Report: Residential fire in the 90 block of Churchill Blvd... Fire Marshall has been called in to determine the cause. This investigation is ongoing. * * * Break and Enter: A local business in the 500 block of Second Line East.

A break and enter was reported on Dacey Road which occurred between 8 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Entry was gained through a rear window and a laptop and cash box were stolen. * * * A break and enter was reported in the 1200 block of Wellington St. East.

Evening news Arrests On the 21Sep12, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Street Team members along with the Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of 43 year old Victoria Joanne Czapla located at 575 Northland Road, Sault Ste.

Evening Report On the 20Sep12 at 1220 hours police dealt with 44 year old Ronda Burns of 134 Gore St. during a police assistance call on Gore St. During the investigation it became apparent there were several outstanding arrest warrants for Burns.

Morning report Arrests/Charged Persons: On September 18, 2012 police attended in the area of the Walmart Department Store on Great Northern Road, for an apparent domestic related matter.

Arrests/Charged Persons: On September 17, 2012 City Police attended at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center and executed a warrant.

City Police have attended to 42 calls for service since 5 am this morning Attempted abductions The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is investigating two incidents of a male attempting to lure young women into the suspect’s vehicle.

Evening news On September 16, 2012 at 10:15 am Patrol Officers arrested and charged, David Maitland, age 42 of 279 Lake St. Sault Ste. Marie, with breach of his undertaking.

************************* 20 year old Tiana Lee Weigand of 549 Cathcart Street #3 was arrested on a warrant. It is alleged that she failed to attend for fingerprints and photographs on a previous charge. She will be appearing in court on Oct 15th.

Evening News City Police arrested a 40 year old male early Friday morning on Domestic related charges dealing with breaching previous release conditions. He appeared in Bail Court this morning.
