ASSAULT WITH WEAPON It is alleged that Landon Lenius, age 21, of 49 Hill Street, went to a residence on Douglas Street and assaulted a male resident there. The assault, yesterday at 11:55 p.m.

POLICE CLOSE QUEEN & LAKE STREETS Yesterday at 1:50 p.m., City Police were called to the area of Queen and Lake Streets regarding a report that a man was shooting a rifle. When the officers arrived, they were unable to locate the suspect.

City Police had a quiet night last night with only a couple of minor liquor-related incidents.

City Police had a very quiet night last night. Only one liquor related arrest was made. There were four minor accidents with no injury or property damage.

IMPAIRED CHARGE LAID An accident at the corner of Lyon's Avenue and Wellington Street West has resulted in an impaired charge being laid against C. McFadden, age 43. She was allegedly driving a 1989 Chev.

MAN ARRESTED FOR THEFT Yesterday, City Police from the Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Corey Tucker, age 31, of 164 Alexandra Street.

BREAK AND ENTERS Police were called to investigate two break and enters from overnight. The break-ins took place at the Hollywood Beauty Supplies Shop at 253B Trunk Road and at the Anipeg Tattoo Parlour at 280 Wilson Street.

MISSING HUNTER FOUND Missing person, Frank Derose has been found by searchers east of Creek Road, about 4km from where he had parked his vehicle. Mr. Derose was taken to hospital by ambulance.

POLICE LOKING FOR SUSPICIOUS MALE Yesterday at 1:50 p.m., police received a call about a suspicious male seen in a doctor's office on east Street. At 2:51 p.m., police received another call about a suspicious male at a public school on Kohler Street.

BREAK & ENTERS The Sault Police Service is investigating two break and enters from the weekend. The first took place at the Station Mall Cleaners on Friday. The second took place early Sunday to a residence in the 100 block of Fish Hatchery Road.
