Join Sault Ste. Marie 4-H (youth ages 9 and up as of Jan. 1, 2024) for the Green Thumbs project at the Common Ground Community Garden next to Emmanuel United Church at Bennett and Boundary Road.
Learn all about gardening through hands-on activities and caring for two garden plots. Surplus produce will be donated to SOYA.
Orientation will be Monday, May 27 from 6:00 to 7:15 pm. Each family will be expected to tend to two Community Garden plots for a week this summer.

Those who register for this project will be allowed to attend weekly Monday evening 4-H meetings from September to December at Ben R. McMullin School at no extra registration cost.
