A year has passed, yet the pain of losing you remains. We find comfort in the memories, the love you shared, and the lessons you taught us. We feel your presence in the quiet moments, in the heavenly signs you send us, and in the love that surrounds our families.

God saw that he was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.

With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
