Local hard rock band Fitswitch will be playing a couple of high-energy gigs in town this month. This five-piece, full-on, rock band formed in July of this past year but have already been leaving their scar on the local scene.

The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library will be celebrating Ontario Public Library Week with a full array of programming that promotes reading and creative thinking.

Jack Armstrong arrived in Canada in 1960 from Belfast, Ireland. He started painting at the age of 18, left it alone for about 15 years, and eventually came around to it again and hasn't stopped for the past 15 years.
