As downtown construction continues, the City of Sault Ste. Marie wishes to inform the public that on Oct. 3 Queen Street East will be closed for two days between Elgin Street and Spring Street.
While pedestrian access to area businesses will be maintained, the city advises the public to find alternative routes as some sidewalks may be closed.
"Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area and obey all signage," says a news release issued by the city.
"The City of Sault Ste. Marie thanks its citizens for their patience and cooperation during this construction project."
