Lions 50/50 draw goes to support community projects

Andre Legace won the Lions Club 50/50 top prize of $5,295.

Andre Legace of Sault Ste. Marie won the Lions Club 50/50 top prize of $5,295.

Lion Hedi Kment sold the winning ticket No. 2920 at Pino's Get Fresh, according to a news release.

The net proceeds from this draw will support local charities such as the Salvation Army, St. Vincent Place, Christmas Cheer and the Soup Kitchen Community Centre. 

Legace said he always supports the community and the local Lions Club.

The Lions Club volunteered over 250 service hours with this draw. The club thanks Pino’s Get Fresh, Giant Tiger Market Mall, Metro Churchill Plaza and Metro Northern Avenue for allowing tickets to be sold in their locations.
