The Ministry of Natural Resources is asking for the public's assistance to identify the individual who shot and killed a cow moose near Chapleau, Ont.
Conservation Officers say on Oct. 16, they were alerted to a cow moose that was shot and abandoned in a cut block off of Kebskwasheshi Road, in Eaton Township, near Chapleau, the ministry said in a release.
The cow moose was killed and abandoned anywhere from a few days up to a week before it was discovered.
The ministry takes this situation very seriously and is looking to identify those responsible.
