More snow is coming this weekend, but there will be a slight warming trend as we head towards next week. The city will likely see around 15cm of new snow, but Goulais, Searchmont and areas further north could see over double that amount by Sunday.

Temperatures will be below -10 °C for the next couple of mornings. Still, a change in the overall weather pattern across the Great Lakes will cause temperatures to climb above freezing on Sunday and stay there until early next week, when we might even see a little rain.

Friday will be mostly cloudy, with daytime highs of -3°C. The city will receive 1-3cm of new snow, with up to 20cm of snow falling from just north of the city to the Montreal River.

Saturday will be cloudy with 10-15cm of snow as temperatures climb to +1°C.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a few sunny breaks and daytime highs near +2°C. A mix of wet snow and drizzle arrives in the evening and overnight.
