A wind shift will help end the snow squall threat late Friday and make way for warmer temperatures this weekend. By the end of the weekend and early next week, we might even see a little rain before cold weather returns later next week.
The snow squalls continue Friday, and we will likely receive another 10-15cm of new fluffy snow as daytime highs reach -4°C. As we saw Thursday, locations further north could see much more snow, while locations to the east could see hardly any at all.
Saturday's skies will be mostly cloudy, with a southerly wind pushing warmer air into the region as afternoon temperatures climb to 0°C.
Sunday will be overcast with a trace of wet snow, possibly mixed with drizzle, as daytime highs reach +3°C.
Monday remains warm with a chance of showers mixed with snow late in the day as temperatures again climb to +3°C.
