TARENTORUS ARE THUNDERBIRD ELEMENTARY GIRLS CLASSIC TOURNEY 2005 CHAMPIONS
The 5th Annual Algoma University College Thunderbird Elementary Girl’s Classic basketball tournament was held this past weekend with ten teams entered at the George Leach Centre.
Tarentorus Public School defeated Central Avenue Public School (Elliot Lake) in the championship final 10-4.
Top scorer for Tarentorus was Chantal Rose with 6 points. Northern Heights defeated the Rosedale A basketball team 18-16 in the consolation final.
