Like every other Ontario Hockey League club, the Soo Greyhounds are happy with the way Saturday's OHL Priority Selection went for them.

Local boxing enthusiasts will have a chance to see the gloves fly on Saturday night as the sport makes its return to Sault Ste. Marie. Hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Boxing Club, a full card of action is slated to begin at 7 p.m. at the Rankin Arena.

While the actual draft festivities do not begin until Saturday morning, the Ontario Hockey League and the Oshawa Generals announced on Thursday that John Tavares will be this year's first overall selection.
