MAPLETON, Ont. — Provincial police say they're investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl who was hit by a boat over the weekend. They say it happened on Conestogo Lake in Mapleton Township, Ont.

Hamilton police are looking for suspects in the city's 10th homicide of 2020 after a man was killed in a stabbing attack early Sunday. The incident happened just before 2:00 a.m. outside a residence on Binbrook Road.

KEMPTVILLE, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police say they have charged a 32-year-old North Grenville man with second-degree murder on Sunday. Police say the man was charged following the death of a 63-year-old Ottawa woman in Kemptville.

MONTREAL — Quebec is reporting 169 new cases of COVID-19 today in addition to one new death linked to the virus. The province has now reported 58,583 confirmed cases and 5,667 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, as well as 50,812 recoveries.

Quebec provincial police say a 12-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a seaplane while kayaking near Grand-Remous in western Quebec on Saturday.
