On March 15, 2014 at approximately 6:30 pm, Blind River Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a disturbance on a residential street in Blind River. Investigation revealed that two males had been involved in an altercation.

BRUCE MINES – On Tuesday March 11, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m., East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Thessalon Detachment were advised of a collision involving a train and a tractor trailer.

AWERES TWP – A break and enter was reported to residence in the 100 block of Marty Boulevard in Beaumont Trailer Park. The break-in occurred sometime between Friday, March 7, 2014 and Sunday, March 9, 2014.

A 54-year-old male was arrested as a result of a domestic violence investigation. It is alleged that on the 1st of March the accused assaulted his wife by striking her in the head.
