OPP BRING SAFE CONCLUSION TO PURSUIT (Blind River, ON.) – On March 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. OPP received a traffic complaint of a tractor trailer being operated in an erratic manner on Highway 17 westbound towards Blind River.

OPP INVESTIGATE SUDDEN DEATH (WAWA, ON) – Foul play is not suspected in the sudden death of a Wawa woman whose body was found in her residence on February 20, 2012.

BREAK- IN REPORTED (Macdonald Twp.,) – A break in to a residence in the 100 block of Echo Lake Road was reported to OPP. Sometime after February 29 th and unknown culprit(s) broke into a residence by forcing the front door open.

ALTERCATION NETS MALE SEVERAL CHARGES (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – March 1, 2012 at approximately 8:09 p.m. officers of the East Algoma OPP in Elliot Lake received a call to attend a residence on Pearson Drive regarding a possible intoxicated male.

TWO CHARGED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP (Elliot Lake, Ontario) –February 28 th , 2012 at approximately 11:38 pm, officers of the East Algoma OPP conducted a traffic stop on Highway 108.

IMPAIRED DRIVER CHARGED (WAWA, ON) – On Monday February 27, 2012 at 10:22 pm, Ontario Provincial Police responded to a call on Highway 17 in Bailloquet Township just north of Wawa.

BREAK- IN TO RANKIN ARENA (Batchewana First Nation, ON) – At approximately 3:30 am Monday morning it was discovered that Rankin Arena had been broken into. Access was gained by breaking a window and then opening the door.

DRIVER CHARGED IN FRIDAY’S MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION (Laird Twp.

Serious Injuries to one Driver (Laird Twp., ON) - OPP are currently at the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 17 East at Bar River Road. Two vehicles are involved.

OPP INVESTIGATE SUDDEN DEATH (WAWA, ON) – On Monday February 20, 2012 just after 3:00 pm, Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a sudden death at an apartment on Ontario Street in Wawa where the body of a woman was located.
