Youth Charged (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – Police have charged one youth after receiving a complaint of assault. Through investigation, police learned that the victim was at school when words were exchange with the accused.

IMPAIRED CHARGE LAID (CHAPLEAU, ON) – On October 13, 2012 at 12:03 pm the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Chapleau Detachment were advised of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 129 in Reaney Township.

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On October 1, 2012 at approximately 4:23 p.m. the East Algoma OPP received a traffic complaint on highway 108. Police attended the area indicated and stopped the vehicle. Through investigation the driver was charged.

YOUTH CHARGED WITH ASSAULT (CHAPLEAU, ON) – On October 5, 2012 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Chapleau Detachment were advised of an assault that had occurred the night prior at the Chapleau Recreational Centre.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are reporting that Highway 17 is closed 35 kilometres south of Wawa. The highway is closed in both directions because a pickup truck pulling a trailer has jackknifed and is blocking both lanes.

BREAK AND ENTER’S REPORTED (Fisher Twp.,ON) – On October 2 nd , 2012 a break in to a home on Stoney Creek Road in Fisher Township was reported to OPP. The break in occurred between September 24, 2012 and when it was discovered yesterday.

OUTBOARD MOTOR STOLEN ON SECOND AVENUE, WAWA (WAWA, ON) – On September 28, 2012 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were advised of a theft of an outboard motor from a residence on Second Avenue in Wawa.

MARIJUANA GROW OPERATION LOCATED (Vankoughnet Twp., ON) - Sault Ste. Marie OPP located and seized 80 mature marihuana plants in the Robertson Lake Area yesterday afternoon. The street value is estimated at eighty thousand dollars.

BREAK AND ENTER REPORTED (Fenwick Twp., ON) - A break in to a residence in the 100 block of Grant Road in Goulais River was reported last night. The break in occurred sometime during 10:00 am and 8:00 pm yesterday.
