VACANT BUILDINGS ENTERED (SUPERIOR EAST OPP) – Recently Superior East OPP have received reports that person(s) unknown have been entering various vacant and condemned buildings throughout our patrol area.

WINDOWS BROKEN AT CHAPLEAU HIGHSCHOOL (CHAPLEAU, ON) – On March 16, 2010 Superior East OPP in Chapleau received a complaint that three double pane windows at the Chapleau Highschool had been broken.

TWO CHARGED (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – At approximately 4:59 a.m. on March 16, 2010 officers of the East Algoma OPP responded to a 911 call. On scene police noted a female standing outside a residence on Gauthier Place.

SUSPENDED DRIVERS CHARGED (CHAPLEAU, ON) – On March 12, 2010 at 1:10pm Superior East OPP in Chapleau had occasion to check a 1994 GMC Sierra on Beech Street. The driver was identified as Gerald AUDET age 54 of TIMMINS, Ontario.

LOCAL MALE CHARGED WITH ASSAULT (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP has charged a local male after receiving information regarding a possible assault.

THEFT OF LAPTOP (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On Monday, March 8, 2010 at approximately 10:10 a.m. police were called to attend the Adult Education Centre on Roman Avenue in Elliot Lake regarding a possible theft.
