FIREARMS STOLEN FROM RESIDENCE (Aweres Twp., ON) A homeowner in Rupert Acres Drive in Aweres Township contacted OPP yesterday to report a theft from his residence that had occurred throughout the night.

RIDE SPOT CHECKS OVER THE WEEKEND (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) RIDE spot checks conducted by OPP around the Sault Ste. Marie area resulted in two drivers being charged.

Ranger Lake Rd Hwy # 556 Closed Hwy#556 at the Garden River Bridge will be closed until at least noon on the 19th of September to complete repairs. The highway has been closed since the 17th of September.

Close Call Hwy#17 at Rupert Acres At 7:50 a.m. September 17th a 91 Grey Nissan pickup truck struck the side of a north bound 88 GMC Pickup truck on Hwy#17 at Rupert Acres rd in Aweres Township.

COTTAGES BROKEN INTO (Kars Twp., ON) Two Break In’s were reported on Saturday, the 13th Sept. 2008 to cottages located in the 2000 block of Four Seasons Drive in Goulais River. Culprits gained entry to both by kicking in the front doors.

Culprits Charged in Numerous Break-Ins (Spanish, Ont.) East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police as a result of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity in Spanish have charged two young persons with multiple charges of Break and Enter.
