O.P.P. INVESTIGATE 5 MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISIONS OVER CIVIC LONG WEEKEND (Herrick Twp., ON) On Friday, the 1st August at approximately 4:00 p.m. Sault Ste. Marie OPP officers responded to a motor vehicle rollover on Highway 17 North in Herrick Township.

Injured Bear Located (Blind River, Ont.) On Saturday 02 August 2008 the East Algoma O.P.P. were called to the Blind River Landfill site where employees reported seeing what they thought was an injured bear.

ARREST MADE IN 2006 ATTACKS (Kapuskasing ON) In December of 2006 the Kapuskasing OPP investigated two separate assaults on woman out walking after dark. Both women were attacked from behind and sexually assaulted.
