Serious Injuries in Snowmobile Collision (Elliot Lake, ON.) – Shortly after 5:00 a.m. East Algoma O.P.P. were called by Ambulance officials to investigate a snowmobile collision on Elliot Lake.

UPDATE: SEVERAL CHARGES LAID IN POLICE PURSUIT (DESBARATS, ON.) – On March 5, 2009 at approximately 8:20am members of the East Algoma OPP received a complainant regarding a vehicle being driven erratically westbound on Highway 17 near Bruce Mines.

Drug Warrant Executed (Blind River, ON.) – On Friday the 27 February 2009 officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit and East Algoma Detachment executed a Warrant issued under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act on a Blind River residence.

NEIGHBOUR CHARGED (Elliot Lake, Ontario) On March 2nd, 2009 at approximately 9:11 a.m. police responded to an ongoing neighbour dispute on Hirshhorn Avenue in Elliot Lake.

Two Motor Vehicle Collisions 1) On February 27, 2009 at 4:50 pm a two vehicle MVC at Sean Court in Chapleau resulted in minor damage and no injuries. Two vehicles exiting their driveways at the same time came into contact with each other.

ASSAULT X2 (Elliot Lake, Ontario) The East Algoma OPP investigated and charged a male after receiving a call regarding two persons being assaulted. The call was received on February 22, 2009 at approximately 6:31 p.m.
