Road Closure Update As of 11:00 p.m., 06 Feb 08, Hwy 69 has been completely re opened to traffic. The Ontario Provincial Police advise the public of the following road closure. Location: 5 km S of Burwash.

FORMER ELLIOT LAKE RESIDENT CHARGED (Elliot Lake, Ont.) The East Algoma OPP has charged a former Elliot Lake resident with several charges after receiving a complaint from a local business.

CHECK BEFORE YOU COMMIT! (Elliot Lake, Ont.) On Monday, January 28, 2008 police were advised that a local resident of Elliot Lake had received a telephone call from an unknown person soliciting funds for the local Fire Department.

DRIVER CHARGED AFTER SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION (Elliot Lake, Ont.) On Friday, the 25th of January 2008 at approximately 5:44 a.m. police were dispatched to attend Highway 108 regarding a motor vehicle collision.
