BREAK AND ENTER WHILE VICTIMS ARE HOME! (Elliot Lake, Ont.) On October 19th, 2007 at approximately 2:10 a.m. the East Algoma OPP received a call to attend a residence on Valley Crescent regarding a possible break and enter.

Greyhound vs. Bear A Black bear was struck by a Grey Hound Bus on Hwy#17 at Batchawana Bay at 4:37 a.m. Thursday morning. The bus was not damaged but the bear was killed.

RESISTING ARREST NET CHARGES FOR LOCAL WOMAN (Elliot Lake, Ont.) The evening of October 15, 2007 at approximately 6:30 p.m. police received a complaint of a female, allegedly climbing through a window at a residence on Bennett Drive in Elliot Lake.
