UPDATE: Motor Vehicle Collision On August 9, 2008 at approximately 11:36 am officers of the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Collision on Highway 69 near the Pine Grove Golf Club.

Searchmont Break and Enter Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating a break and enter into Ker-Lin General Store in Searchmont. The store was entered sometime over night on the 6-7th of August. Liquor and cigarettes were stolen.

Injured Bear Located (Blind River, Ont.) On Saturday 02 August 2008 the East Algoma O.P.P. were called to the Blind River Landfill site where employees reported seeing what they thought was an injured bear.

ARREST MADE IN 2006 ATTACKS (Kapuskasing ON) In December of 2006 the Kapuskasing OPP investigated two separate assaults on woman out walking after dark. Both women were attacked from behind and sexually assaulted.
