ITEMS STOLEN FROM BOATS DOCKED AT RANGER LAKE (Snow Twp., Ont.) Ontario Provincial Police responded to a theft complaint on Ranger Lake yesterday morning.

BIKES STOLEN (Blind River, Ontario) On Tuesday June 3, 2008 the East Algoma Blind River OPP received a complaint of two bicycles being stolen from a residence on North Street, Blind River, Ontario. The bicycles were stolen overnight.

SIGN BROKEN (Blind River, Ontario) On Monday June 2, 2008 the East Algoma Blind River OPP received a complaint regarding a sign being damaged and stolen. The sign was located at a residence on Riverside Drive, Blind River, Ontario.

LOCAL MAN SPENDS THE NIGHT IN THE BUSH (Labelle Twp., Ont.) A Sault Ste. Marie man spent a night in the bush after getting turned around on a trail just north of the Agawa River in Labelle Township.

WEAPONS CHARGES LAID (Elliot Lake, Ontario) On Sunday May 31, 2008 at approximately 2:27 a.m. the East Algoma Elliot Lake OPP received a call regarding an assault involving a knife.

POLICE RESPOND TO BEAR CALLS (Elliot Lake, Ont.) The East Algoma OPP has responded to several bear calls during this past week. Citizens are reminded to not feed the bears.

BEAR SIGHTING IN FENWICK TOWNSHIP NEAR SCHOOL YARD (Fenwick Twp., Ont.) OPP were called to Mountainview Public School yesterday morning around 8: 45 a.m. when a bear was spotted behind the fence area surrounding the back of the school yard.
