Echo Bay, Ont., A twenty six year old Echo Bay man is in police custody this morning after threatening to kill his ex-wife. Just after the supper hour yesterday the woman was contacted by her ex spouse and certain monetary demands were made to her.

A Batchawana First Nation resident will appear in bail court this morning after assaulting a woman over the weekend. On Sunday morning at about 1:30 a.m. police were called to a home on Frontenac Street on the Batchawana First Nation.
