ASSAULT ON WOMAN AND CHILD Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. has issued a warrant for the arrest of a twenty-four-year-old Heyden man after a woman was kicked unconscious and her five-year-old son assaulted by the same man.

ECHO BAY FIRE (Echo Bay, Ont) Yesterday members of he Sault O.P.P. and the Echo Bay Fire Service responded to a fire at the Echo Bay Milling Co. located on Highway 638, MacDonald Twp. At 5:30 p.m. found the building engulfed in flames.
