HIGHWAY 17 NORTH REOPENED Wawa, Ont. The Wawa detachment of the O.P.P. advises that Highway 17 was closed from Wawa north to Highway #519 due to weather and dangerous driving conditions at noon today and was reopened at 4:30 p.m..

CLOSE CALL Montreal River, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP are looking for a tractor trailer that failed to report a collision near Montreal River yesterday. At about 10:00 a.m., a jeep was following a tractor trailer southbound on Hwy 17.
