CAR-DEER COLLISON Searchmont, Ont.. Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to Hwy 556 near Searchmont for a car and deer collision yesterday morning. At about 7:00 a.m. a car traveling to Searchmont, on Hwy 556, struck the deer.

MISCHIEF ON THORN ISLAND The Sault detachment of the O.P.P. had a very quiet day yesterday. A report of mischief to a cottage on Thorn Island was investigated . Thorn Island is located in the St.
