HEATING FUEL THEFTS Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating reports of the theft of fuel oil from several homes in the Heyden area.

CAR AND LOGGING TRUCK COLLIDE At 11:40 yesterday morning, members of the Sault O.P.P. were called to Robertson Lake Road to investigate a two-vehicle accident.

TREE ACROSS HIGHWAY SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL Heyden, Ont. At 9:00 last night, Sault O.P.P. responded to a report of a vehicle striking a tree on Highway 17 at the top of the infamous "Mile Hill".

The Sault O.P.P. had a relatively quiet weekend. One accident with no injuries was investigated near Montreal River. Police also investigated two vehicles in the ditch on Sunday. Both vehicles lost control due to slippery conditions.

Sault O.P.P. report a quiet night last night. An accident involving a transport truck occurred in the Batchewana area at 9:30 this morning. One lane of traffic was closed for a short period of time but is now open.
