Yesterday evening at 7:50, The Sault O.P.P. responded to a domestic assault at 13 Green Acres Drive in Hayden. The couple in question received minor injuries that were treated at Sault Area Hospitals.

TREE ACROSS HIGHWAY SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL Heyden, Ont. At 9:00 last night, Sault O.P.P. responded to a report of a vehicle striking a tree on Highway 17 at the top of the infamous "Mile Hill".

The Sault O.P.P. had a relatively quiet weekend. One accident with no injuries was investigated near Montreal River. Police also investigated two vehicles in the ditch on Sunday. Both vehicles lost control due to slippery conditions.

Sault O.P.P. report a quiet night last night. An accident involving a transport truck occurred in the Batchewana area at 9:30 this morning. One lane of traffic was closed for a short period of time but is now open.
