DEER CAUSES REAR ENDER Yesterday at 12:15pm, the driver of a northbound vehicle on the Ranger Lake Road, in the area of Paquette Lake, slammed on the brakes attempting to avoid a deer.

LOTTERY TICKETS STOLEN On October 12, police were called to The Stop Market located on Highway 17 at Hayden where $1,100 worth of lottery tickets had been stolen. The persons suspected of the theft were later arrested in Marathon by the O.P.P.
