Couldn't have put it better myself. At least now I have a valid excuse.

Before Covid, I was always commuting to work. I used to stop for coffee and other goodies (not so healthy) several times a week. Since Covid, I having been working from home 95% of the time, I just drink coffee from home and eat healthier options. End result is that I have lost over 30 lbs since March of 2020.

Well done Hammy! Without walking to and from work I'm now carrying a wee bit extra and only track pants fit me now. :-(

Its been a rollercoaster. have been home way more than b4. but Im also eating healthier to combat the weight gains from less activity, and with the weather warming back up, I'll be getting a lot more physical activity in.

My mental health went down the drain with covid. I'm lonely and I miss my family.

Life has completely fallen apart for most people I know. Literally everyone im talking to right now is going through some kind of hardship related to the lockdowns.

Still dont know anyone who was sick or who has died of COVID, but many who are bankrupt, mentally drained, broke, or are in some kind of a bad way

These Wooden: luckily we have been mostly spared in the north, and the lockdowns are the reason. I don't know anyone who was struck by lightning, but I still don't hang out in open fields during a thunderstorm carrying a flagpole.

Basically everyone I know who used to stay active and fit through sports or going to the gym have all gained at least 20 lbs....
There is going to be a huge downstream effect 5-10 years down the road of more heart disease/attacks, strokes, cancer ...
Not even going to mention mental health because it's already been stated over and over how bad these lockdowns are for people who need social interaction and kids

More people in Canada have suffered mentally or financially in permanent ways than how many have died from COVID globally.

You must have food.
Probably you don't must have hardware.

I can't remember the last time anyone in my family has caught a common cold or the seasonal flu. Mask work!

That's true! I usually get at 2 or 3 colds a year, but I haven't had one since 2019.
