Ray used to call me from Hong Kong on a regular basis. I knew he was not well for the last few years. Since I hadn't heard from him for a while, I knew something wasn't right.
I first got to know Ray when he started a Stratomatic baseball league. We had four players in the league: Ray, Harry Peredun, Billy Beith and myself. We spent years playing this kid's game and loved every minute of it. The only thing Ray liked better was coaching basket ball. It was a big part of his life.
When Ray went to Hong Kong he told me about getting married to a young Asian girl. In every phone call he mentioned how lucky he was to have married such a wonderful person.
St. Tereas' elementary school was lucky to have such a dedicated teacher and coach who spent countless hours after school teaching students the game of basketball.
To my friend, Ray Socchia - RIP Frank Farkas

In George's younger days he used to come over to visit the family. His mother and father were good friends with my parents. We used to just sit around and chat. George had so many stories about his adventures in the bush. I treasure those memories. Frank Farkas

Joanne and Nick spent endless hours with their children; always attending Melody's curling games and Stephen's hockey and baseball games.
Joanne will always be remembered for her bubbly, pleasant personality. I always liked talking to Joanne at a family get together. She could talk about any topic and make the conversation exciting. We will miss you, Joanne.

Randy, I remember your mom when you and my brother George played in bands in your teenage years.
Eddie, I remember the days we went to North Bay Teacher's College; your mom always prepared food for you to take back to North Bay. She was very supportive and proud of her boys, Randy and Eddie.
