Putting Canada first is the only logical response right now. It doesn’t imply Canada only, just as it says, first. By the way, I ain’t your friend.

“Non Partisan”. The name alone is partisan. This is the new Liberal Party slogan. I get the sentiment, but don’t pretend for a second this is non partisan. Why not a “Canada First” rally then? Oh right, because that WOULD be partisan. Spare me.

Geez. A Wilfred Laurier academic just happens to weigh in with an opinion on a far flung Northern Ontario riding which also happens to take a negative view of the Conservative candidate? What are the odds of that just happening? We all know he was the police chief. Relax.

What is the UK buying from us? Shipping costs alone make it untenable. Jim Flaherty saved Canada in 2008, not Carney. Smith is protecting the workers in her Province, and you disparage her for it? I wish we had a Premier that would do that.

Millions of people visiting food banks. Reports that a huge percentage of the population is a paycheque away from insolvency. Record housing prices. Food prices. High youth unemployment. Sure, the economy is great! Having said that, it would be exponentially better if we sold our valuable resources to allied countries that need and want them. Carney already announced this week that’s not happening if he wins. Wake up.

A cannabis store on every corner is fine though? Ridiculous.

Yes. Of course the nanny comments flooding about how bad alcohol is for you, while the Liberals put a pot store on every corner. Yeah, ok.

The lack of fuel deliveries is only the start of their problems for their gas stations. With the Liberals admitting the carbon tax was a scam killing their reelection chances, and Canadians avoiding the US, they will lose a significant chunk of customers.

Good to see a Canadian chain added to that location. Northern Avenue near that spot is a disaster. It was narrowed from 4 lanes to 2, to accommodate bike lanes no one uses. The 9 storey apartment building going up across the street, combined with several new additions to the plaza, are and will make the traffic situation worse.

I see criticism of Poilievre’s Canada First messaging and it’s disappointing to see, because 9 years of Liberal rule brought us to this moment. The cupboard is bare. It’s time we put our interests first, and when we do that Canada can be a world partner again. Invest in the infrastructure and development of the wealth generating resources we are so fortunate to have. Voters need to ask themselves why the Liberals cannot campaign on their last 9 years, they want us to forget Trudeau, the corruption, the scandals, the $62B deficit their own Finance Minister was to ashamed to table. It was so bad, she resigned. We need true change. Electing the same MP’s that cheered on the bad policies that have brought families and businesses to the brink, is not change, it’s rewarding failure.
