At 2 p.m. on December 17, 2015 city police arrested a 30-year-old female on outstanding warrants. It’s alleged that on the November 26, 2015 she stole merchandise from the Trading Post on Great Northern Road.

On December 6, 2015 a male, age 19, turned himself in at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service building regarding outstanding dated arrest warrants. The accused failed to attend for court dating back to 2013.

On December 15, 2015 city police responded to a disturbance at a local rooming house. A female age 59 was allegedly smoking in a non-smoking common area.

At 11:30 A.M. on December 15, 2015 city police arrested 21 year old Joshua James Wilson of Huron St. It’s alleged that on 14 December the accused assaulted a male known to him causing injury that required medical attention.

A businees in the 300 block of Queen Street was reported broken into overnight but investigation revealed that nothing was stolen.

On the afternoon of December 13, 2015 patrol officers responded to Canada Customs in regards to a male in custody. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 46-year-old Albert Day of Garden River.

On December 12 City Police conducted a vehicle stop on Great Northern Rd. near Northern Ave. Further observations led the officer to demand the driver of the vehicle provide a breath sample into a roadside screening device.

Damage was reported to a shed in the 100 block of Letcher St. Nothing was reported stolen. A rock was thrown through a window of a business on Trunk Rd. overnight. Nothing was reported stolen. On December 11, 2015 at 12:05 a.m.

On December 10, 2015 at 2:20 a.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Landslide Road near Hiawatha. Initial information indicated that a vehicle had struck a utility pole and wires were down.

On December 9, 2015 at 2:30 a.m. officers arrested 23-year-old Taylor Corboy of Third Line West. It is alleged that at 2 a.m. the accused was leaving an east end bar and struck another vehicle in the lot.
