On September 26, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22-year-old Christian Breathat of Pardee Avenue in regards to a theft.

The accused was apprehended by store security

He will appear in court in October

Accused allegedly had a tool for breaking windows in his possession

The accused allegedly took out a knife and then began to chase the victim

Accused allegedly drove his vehicle towards the victim and swerved at the last moment narrowly missing the victim’s vehicle

Officers conducted a traffic stop and found that the accused; who was operating the motor vehicle, was a disqualified driver

The accused engaged in a verbal argument with the victim
