47-year-old Dr. Peter Schwarz stands accused of allegedly assaulting a female patient

First responders closed Bruce Street to traffic at Albert Street over the supper hour on Saturday to clean up a vehicular crash. Two vehicles were involved. A car suffered major damage to its front end.

Faces assault with weapon and other charges

Sometime overnight unknown culprits broke into a business in the 200 block of St Georges Ave East by prying open a side door. Once inside a quantity of copper pipe was stolen. Sometime overnight a vacant residence was broken into on Grace St.

Police said injuries were minor and charges were laid

At 4:10 p.m. on Sept. 6, 2016 city police arrested Shane Chad Agawa age 26 of Albert St. West on an outstanding arrest warrant.
